European Account Executive - FinTech / RegTech

Description:
An award winning FinTech / RegTech provider is looking to grow their London based team with the appointment of an Account Executive covering a European territory. Based from a London office (twice a week with a hybrid working model) you will be targeting both new business across financial services (retail banks) as well as professional services (audit firms) including managing and growing usage of firms already using the platform in a territory management role for your region of the European team
The Role:
As an Account Executive your primary responsibility will be primarily managing a number of professional services firms that use the platform to communicate with banks. You will develop an account plan to manage and grow the revenue stream of your existing book of business when you first join. You will then transition to a hybrid role where you will be both developing new business with banks and professional services firms as well as growing existing accounts
The Candidate:
You will be a bright articulate individual that can demonstrate success against target both from a new business perspective as well as growing your assigned territory / region through growing the account spend through a structured account development plan in an account manager, AE, BDM, territory manager role. A secondary European language is highly desirable in particular Dutch or French although they will also consider Spanish, German, Italian etc as well. Any exposure to or knowledge of accountancy / audit firms or banks is advantageous but what is more important is your ability to drive new business within the financial services world. You will also need to have good stability in your career with no more than 2 jobs in the last 3-4 years as they will not consider people who move jobs regularly.
The Package:
On offer is a very attractive package with a base salary of between £55,000-£62,000 depending on experience, pension, health, criteria and also an uncapped ote of £40,000-£42,000 on top of your base salary. Also, on offer is the opportunity of working with a company that is growing and promotes from within and is looking to build and develop their UK office.
