Account Manager - Financial Intelligence

Description:
A dynamic forward thinking player within the financial intelligence / financial information market place is expanding their UK team due to their continued success. Whilst being a relatively new player to the market they already work with the top 10 investment banks as well as asset managers, law firms and private equity due to the details on their information as well as time to market surpassing the competition. As such they are looking to add an account manager to the team to work closely with accounts to maximise opportunity to drive revenue growth within the account base through upselling and cross selling as well as uplifting the price for renewals

The Role:
In this newly formed role you will be closely alongside the VP of Sales in driving revenue from within the existing portfolio of clients. Due to this being a newly created team you will also have say on processes and procedures as the company is a very collaborative environment. The expectation is to drive significant growth from within the account base 15-20% which will be through a combination of upselling and cross selling in to the account base whilst also working with accounts to help them understand as the product has become more advanced, bigger, quicker etc. the price point will be increasing at renewal time to reflect the investment in the product.


The Candidate:
You will be able to demonstrate clear success over a sustained period of time in a account management role where the expectation has been around double digit growth. Experience from the institutional side of the market is advantageous however not essential as they will look at people that have worked in other areas of market intelligence, financial information etc. who have managed relationships in their target market areas which are investment banks, asset managers, law firms, PE etc.

The Package:
On offer is a very attractive package with a base salary of between £50,000-£80,000 with an ote of £30,000 on top which is uncapped and has accelerators once your team surpass their target. Also on offer is an opportunity for share options as the business grows the EMEA region.
