Business Development Manager – Payment Processing - £60k+ ote

Are you a new business hunter working within a short sales cycle environment? If so read on as one of the world’s leading organisations is looking to further expand their UK sales team selling their payment processing services to retail, e-tail and m-commerce providers across the UK.

The Role:
In this new business focused role you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from cradle to grave. You will be given a number of leads each day from incoming enquiries through partners through to appointments set in your diary by the lead generation team. You will be expected to be some who can speak with prospects, demo the product (in person or via a web demo) and close a deal.

Known for training and developing their staff as well as offering excellent progression opportunities they are a true market leader in every sense. From the number of incoming enquires they received to their market share this company is a true global leader in the payment processing field offering, hardware, software, processing and gateways

The Candidate:
You will be a highly successful sales professional from within a business to business sales environment. Any exposure to selling in to the retail market place would be advantageous however not essential as full training will be given and they have had success from people from within advertising, media, utilities, telecommunications, POS etc. What is more important is that you are intelligent and able to work with clients and explain pricing structures which can sometimes be based on a number of different variables.

The Package:
On offer is a very attractive package with a base salary of between £32,000-£37,000 depending on experience with a company car and uncapped ote £55,000-£60,000 (1st year) with an accelerator once you surpass your target, you will also have pension, healthcare, life insurance etc. In your 2nd year you should be earning well in excess of £80k there is also an aggressive accelerator we have for over achievers and top performers will exceed £100k 2nd year.
