A successful and well established company is in need of a Business Development Executive to expand its already thriving market share in Business Information/Economic Data Research.

The Role
In this highly lucrative Business Development Executive position you will be responsible for selling an online subscription service (publication) to a variety of markets (mostly non-financial). As part of your prospecting, you will also gain an understanding of potential new niche market areas for our offering. The introduction will be done via the phone, with then the groundwork set for either a close on the first call, or a follow up call/meeting after some sample information has been sent.

Our product provides insights and downloadable datasets for clients to use for business planning. Our business intelligence is researched by industry leading Economists, and with an already very strong reputation in the industry, the prospective client will already know of who we are.

We also have other subscription based products, and bespoke consulting services so there is also an opportunity to cross sell these. First year targets for this role is around £200k (as it it is a new product), with subscription prices starting at £15k/a.

The Candidate
We require well-educated and a successful Business Development Executive with a proven track record of winning new business in a market research/business intelligence or SaaS based field. The ideal candidate must have an excellent telephone manner, and have a real hunger to make money and determination to do well. This is all you need! This role will involve some market research into new and niche areas so someone with some previous experience in doing this will be highly desirable.

The Package
For Business Development Executive position you will be rewarded with a basic salary of between £40,000 and £55,000 with a generous, with on target OTE of £65,000 (uncapped) in the first year. Additional benefits include a further end of year bonus of between £3k-£6k based overall team performance.
