Business Development Manager - BI SaaS (Mid Market) - £60k

A successful and market leading company in the market research/business information space is in need of a Business Development Manager to expand its already thriving market share in the mid market enterprise sector. The company boast a strong growth structure within the company and is now offering the correct candidate a chance to become part of the team.

Package – £40,000 basic + 50% commission, + benefits

The Role
As the Business Development Manager, you will be developing new business using a consultative sales approach, selling a range of bespoke market research services (both SaaS based and consultancy services). You will have the support of a BDE to assist in generating leads, but this role will require you to prospect new opportunities in the mid market enterprise space across a range of verticals (Financial Services, Healthcare, Pharma, Government, and more!). You will spend most of your time out meeting clients, pitching, and signing them onto a world class business information service.

Average order values will be between £75k and £250k. When not out at meetings, there is flexibility to be based in the office or at home.

The Candidate
The successful candidate for this Business Development Manager position will have previous solution sale experience. This requires a consultative sales professional with excellent communication skills, that can show real credibility when in front of C-suite clients. You will have a passion for winning new business, and also for technology and SaaS based products. This will really suit a degree educated sales professional who is looking to take the next step in their career

The Package
For this Business Development Manager role you will be rewarded with a basic salary of up to £40,000, and receive a generous, uncapped commission structure bringing the first year OTE to around £60,000. Additional benefits include travel expenses, laptop and phone.
