Choose the right agency to avoid missing the best candidates

A recent report, discovered by NGA Human Resources, has found that almost half of candidates (45%) are rejecting jobs because they weren’t impressed during the recruitment process. 

However, this wasnt the top reason why candidates were turning down roles. 56% declined changing jobs as they had a better offer from another company, and 49% did not like the salary on offer.

In today’s job market the power lies firmly in the hands of a good candidate– they now have the pick of the bunch with opportunities - so employers must react by investing in the recruitment and onboarding processes, or risk missing out on them.

One of the main reasons for 'losing' candidates is the time and effort applied by the employer (or lack of). Sometimes even leaving as long as 48 hours between 1st and 2nd stage interviews can lead to losing candidates to other roles - and they end up going to firms (and competitors) that are pulling out all the stops and making the candidates feel special.
