The Role

In this New Business Development Manager role, you will be responsible for working with the head of sales and a sales team to generate profit for our client’s sewage/pump equipment services. Being the driving force in completing sales cycle from the initial appointment to the closing of deals. Alongside this, build and maintain knowledge of the company’s offering and market sector. This includes a comprehensive understanding of the sewage/pump equipment services. The opportunity will revolve around a field sales role, having several meetings with potential buyers per week. As a New Business Development Manager, you will not only have the responsibility in bringing in new business, but you will also be required to retain them through Account Management.

The Candidate

We require an individual who has an interest in a New Business Manager position working in a client-facing role. Have high levels of motivations and drive to carry out a complete sales cycle from beginning to end, interest in bringing in new business and having a family feel with the company and the engineering industry. Someone that is willing to travel regularly within the UK. You will also need to be able to demonstrate a successful track record of achieving targets within the sewage/pump equipment sector.

The Package

Although the salary package will be negotiable dependent on previous experience, initial indication is a base salary of £40,000-50,000 basic, plus £20,000 OTE. The harder you work, the more you earn!
