Based on the back of a highly successful growth year, my client is looking to add a highly-proven Business Development Manager to cover a Yorkshire territory. If you have experience in the employee benefits sector selling to brokers or intermediaries and are looking for the next corporate step in your career, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Covering the territory of Yorkshire, you will be primarily working from home and spending most of the time out in the field, meeting with potential clients and pitching them solutions for their employee benefits and cash plans. As business development manager you will be responsible for generating new business but the majority will come from inherited existing accounts.
At least 5 years sales experience of cash plans and employee benefits is essential. What is most essential is that you have experience selling into brokers and intermediaries, as this is non-negotiable.

Although the salary package will be negotiable dependent on previous experience, initial indication for a Business Development Manager in the employee benefits sector is 50,000 basic, with OTE totalling up to £80,000.
